New design option for all Viega bathroom drains

A consistent looking surface can be achieved right now - with the new fixture for all Viega bathroom drains. This can be tiled individually with any type of flooring - with a low installation height of just five millimetres, it is even possible to use glass mosaic pieces. All that are visible is a narrow shadow gap, through which the water quickly and safely drains away. (Photo: Viega)

Walk-in showers stand for architectural quality and freedom of movement in the bathroom. They are barrier-free and an important design element as a continuously tiled surface. The floor is standardised right through to the last detail with the new extension piece for all Viega bathroom drains. Because, in place of a conventional grate, an individually tileable insert is used. Without a frame, it integrates virtually seamlessly into the flooring.

The tileable fixture from Viega can be combined with any type of flooring. There are versatile design options, such as the use of tiles or natural stone. As the new fixture only needs an installation height of five millimetres, is it even possible to use glass mosaics.

Frameless

A surface that appears to be tiled continuously is ultimately achieved by the Viega product developers. Thanks to their knowledge, the new tileable fixture is the first on the market without a frame. The water drains out through the narrow circular slot between the cover and the flooring. Despite its low width, it has a capacity of between 0.4 and 0.5 litres per second.

For Viega, the new tileable extension piece is an addition to the Visign grate series, which has won numerous design prizes. It is a component of the Advantix bathroom and floor drain range, which stands out due to its sophisticated building block concept. The super-flat bathroom drains with an installation height of just 62 or 70 millimetres are also part of this range.
