With its compact dimensions and a weight of just 2.5 kg, the “Pressgun Picco” is one of the most practical press tools on the market. The Pressgun Picco is now even more economical as a result of the current design revision. In addition, new press jaws with snap action function make work even easier. These are opened by hand as usual, but only close when the starting switch is pressed. This offers many advantages, such as for working overhead with just one hand.

The slimline and practical “Pressgun Picco” from Viega is ideal for pressing pipe connections when space is particularly tight under the ceiling or in shafts. This simple work is now supported by additional features, such as the integrated LED lamp to light up the work environment.

Position the press jaws “free-hand”

Viega has developed new press jaws with a snap action function for particularly difficult installations, when work can only be carried out with one hand. Before positioning at the press location, the press jaws are opened easily as usual, but then remain open using spring tension. They only close when the starting switch is pressed. When the switch is pressed again, the actual press procedure begins. This provides additional safety, as the free hand can now be used to precisely align the installation. It is also still possible to correct the positioned press jaws before pressing.

The press jaws with snap action function are initially available from the manufacturer in dimensions of 12 to 35 mm for metallic pipe systems.

Long maintenance intervals

The low weight of just 2.5 kg and ergonomic gun-shape design make the Viega Pressgun Picco particularly handy and practical. As well as the high-performance lithium-ion battery with very good cold-start function, the handy Viega Pressgun Picco can also now be operated with a mains adapter. With the rotating press head, it really is possible to comfortably access any position.

The Viega Pressgun Picco only needs a service after 30,000 pressings. The Pressgun is deactivated automatically after the 32,000th pressing.
