Easytop System Fittings

Easytop system fittings can be used for all types of drinking water.

Low Pressure Loss Fittings

By using flow-enhancing components, pipe dimensions can be substantially reduced in installations. The smaller pipe dimensions reduce costs for insulation and pipe fasteners and promote optimal water exchange and, with it, water quality. When using low pressure loss shut-off fittings, such as Easytop ball valves, an additional pressure potential is available.

According to EN 806 part 2 (June 2005) Technical Rules for Drinking Water Installation Chapter 6.1 Shut-off valves: “Only flow-enhancing pipe fittings (e.g. ball valves, free flow valves) should be fitted”, this is already possible according to the standard. And no matter whether it is Sanpress Inox, Sanpress, Profipress or Pexfit, the fittings can be combined perfectly with all Viega press systems.

Easytop sample extraction valve

Water quality controls for public buildings are mandatory. Therefore, water must be regularly chemically and microbiologically tested at extraction points in public buildings. To simplify these tests, the Easytop sample extraction valve was developed. The valve guarantees samples extracted under laboratory conditions, without the risk of external influences contaminating the results.

The Easytop sample extraction valve is made up of a permanently secured zero stagnation space extraction valve and an, only for the extraction process, attachable, sterilisable actuating unit. All of the parts of the actuating unit which come into contact with water are made of gunmetal and can therefore be temperature treated in autoclaves or flame treated on-site, and consequently disinfected.

Easytop Circulating Regulation Valve for Circulation Systems

Circulation systems, such as e.g. Viega Smartloop, should be synchronized in part or complete sections with regulating valves. The Viega Easytop circulating regulation valve not only regulates the volume flow in normal operation. It also regulates the flow during thermal disinfection. It has the function of regulating the volume flow in the circulation branch in such a way that a temperature difference of 5 K is not exceeded in the hot water circulation system.

Furthermore, it allows thermal disinfection from 70 °C upwards. The triggering of the thermal disinfection procedure can take place manually using the valve (boiler control) or via a process control unit (central building control systems). Manually triggering the thermal disinfection ensures the hygienic safety fo the installation and effectively avoids scalding.
